Sports Massage

I saw Jack for a sports massage after having a lot of tension for a few weeks. He really listened to where I needed work and as such focused the treatment session on these areas. Since then, the pain in my ribs and chest has completely gone and my pelvis pain, although very sore the first 2 days, is feeling much better again now. Thank you!

Over the years I have been able to access the wide range of services from Adjust Massage from sports massage to reflexology. All the therapists are very professional and take the time to understand what I need. I particularly recommend sport and remedial massages for people like me that spend hours on the computer and need to relieve stress and tension in their neck and back. I can't thank James enough for all the help and encouragement he has given me. I have been with adjust for 18 months now and always go pre race to iron out any kinks! I ran an ultra marathon at the weekend, after having had a massage on Wednesday. Despite averaging 40 miles a week, my legs felt fresh and the race felt easy. Would highly recommend the sports massage.

I had a muscle strain in my upper back/shoulder and went to Imogen in agony, with a day's notice for an appointment. She did a very good massage and kept the pressure just right, checking all the way if it was ok. She advised me on posture and recovery time. It hurt a lot the next day, but that was to be expected. Unexpectedly, most of the pain was gone on day 2. I would therefore highly recommend Imogen and Adjust.

I recently completed my first ever triathlon  - the Outlaw Half. Despite it being the worst 6 hours and 35 minutes of my life, I did complete it with a fully functioning and injury free body. How? Well I spent 4 months leading up to the event having a weekly sports massage with James, which meant that my body recovered during heavy training and more importantly any niggles along the way were sorted. So, now that my event is over I continue to have my regular massage fix as my body has never felt so good.

No nonsense - straight down to taking care of my awkward hip and my gammy shoulder. Felt much better afterwards and also got some good exercises to prevent the problems arising again.

I would highly recommend Adjust. I had a great massage along with friendly, genuine service. I was impressed that I was also shown exercises to do and given advice for the long term.

Thanks for the fantastic massage James! My lower back, shoulders and calves feel loads better. I can''t believe how many knots there were and you''ve sorted them out completely. I''ve had quite a few massages before and this was the best by far! Back to fitness training again tomorrow to tighten up the muscles and get sore again!

I've been a runner for many years but in recent months I have been suffering with the odd niggle. I have been seeing James on a regular basis for a sports massage, he has effectively dealt with those niggles, ensuring they don't escalate and prevent me from running and carry out my job as a fitness instructor.

I had a fantastic sports massage last week in preparation for a half marathon and am delighted to say my legs felt brilliant, helping me achieve a course PB!

Really enjoyed my sports massage with Imogen. It was my first sports massage so didn't know what to expect but she made me feel very relaxed. I have just got back into running so have a few aches and pains, but the massage really helped. I will definitely be going back!

As this was my first time having a sports massage, overall I found the experience really good. The staff member was friendly, happy to answer any questions I had and explained the process very clearly. Immediately after the massage I felt looser and after a couple of days I believe it has definitely improved a problem I was having with my hamstring. I will be booking in for another session regularly

James has a wonderfully relaxed, calm, professional manner, which puts you at your ease straight away. The combination of massage and stretching ironed out the niggles in my back, shoulders, calves and thighs. A little bit painful at times, but nice pain! And I feel better even after one visit.

Fantastic after weeks of aching just 1 hour treatment and I feel a lot better will definitely be back I can thank you enough for the time you spent to help sort out my shoulder x

Met James earlier today for my first massage at Adjust. I found the entire experience personable, with James taking time to understand why I was visiting, and how the sports massage would help ease my shoulder pain. The booking process via the website was easy to navigate and book a time that suited me, the environment is welcoming and James is both knowledgeable and personable. Definitely be visiting again and happy to recommend.

James showed good knowledge and understanding of what was required to help provide an effective massage during our consultation meeting. James has an approachable manner and shows a passion for his profession without being imposing. Despite the discomfort my body was in, my experience of the massage was pleasant and informative throughout. I was really impressed with the sports massage I had on my shoulder last week. For many years I have had difficulty in raising my arm when my elbow is bent. I had 6 treatments from a chiropractor 6 months ago, and wish he would have used the intense pressure you did. I found it painful but I believe it was exactly what my body needed as I now have more flexibility. Thank you.
