A Treat for your feet

Reflexology involves massaging the feet and hands with the aim of creating a state of deep relaxation, bringing the body into balance and stimulating the body’s healing processes.

Reflexology is based on the principal that reflex points on the feet and hands correspond to organs, glands and other parts of the body and that by applying pressure and massaging specific areas the reflexologist can help identify any imbalances, work on those areas to release congestion and improve a client's health and wellbeing. 

The massage will involve various techniques such as rubbing, kneading, applying pressure and rotating the joints allowing the therapist to fully treat the areas of tension and congestion in the body, which helps the body to start healing itself.

The advantages of this therapy are enormous as we work with the whole body and its complex network of systems. It has been shown to have a positive effect with conditions such as migraines and insomnia. Depression, stress and anxiety can also be positively affected.

Reflexology can help to settle hormone imbalances that occur throughout the natural stages of our lives such as menstrual cycles, fertility treatment, pregnancy and the menopause.

Reflexology is available at our West Bridgford and Beeston clinics and all of our reflexology treatments are carried out by Nicola, Hayley & Molly.
